Before we begin, every item is carefully assessed and tested to ensure steam cleaning is safe and appropriate for the fabric type. The good news is that most fabrics are compatible, and steam cleaning remains the most effective method for deep cleaning, removing embedded soiling and stains while restoring freshness.
Our Fabric & Upholstery Cleaning Process
Assessment & Testing
Fabrics and upholstery are inspected to ensure suitability for steam cleaning.
Pre-Vacuuming
Where needed, surfaces are pre-vacuumed to remove dry dust and debris before treatment.
Pre-Treatment
A professional, broad-spectrum stain remover is applied to all surfaces, with particular attention to heavily soiled or stained areas. At this stage, we can also apply sanitisers and other specialised treatments depending on the fabric and condition. The solution is given time to break down deep-seated soiling.
Steam Cleaning & Extraction
High-temperature steam is then applied, sanitising and flushing out stains and contaminants, which are immediately extracted into our recovery system. This leaves no residue behind and ensures a thorough, hygienic clean.
Targeted Stain Removal
Remaining stubborn stains are treated with specialised removers, depending on their type and severity.
The Result?
Your upholstery is now clean, sanitised, fresh, and only slightly damp, with a drying time of 1–3 hours, depending on the fabric (e.g., wool content).
